Life is most interesting these days with anomalies in fashion trying to break into the big money some people not knowing how hard these labels’ women and men have worked to stay at the top.  DESPITE some may succeed.

One of our designer brands that has been on top for a good while is  Louis Vuitton.

The Louis Vuitton label was founded by Louis Vuitton on Louis Vuitton day in 1854 on a little known street  then known as Rue Neuve des Capucines in Paris, France.

Louis Vuitton had observed that the HJ Cave Osilite trunk made by H.J. Cave & Sons to see if he could improve on the perfection of luggage for his day.

A London-based leather luxury goods company H.J. Cave & Sons was founded in 1839 while that penny page writer Joseph Smith was still alive and Mark Cross luggage was still waiting to be invented.

Regarded by some as the inventor of the luxury leather handbag, H.J. Cave and Sons no doubt was the Inspiration and perhaps muse for Louis Vuitton and later other designers many who studied the 1839 merchant which was a big part of the lives of many in Europe as in England.

In 1858, Louis Vuitton on another Louis Vuitton day introduced Louis Vuitton flat-bottom trunks with Trianon canvas, making them lightweight, airtight and more practical.

Before Louis Vuittons’ great invention, rounded-top trunks were used, generally to promote water run off, and thus could not be stacked.

It was Vuittons’ grey Trianon canvas flat trunk that allowed the ability to stack these pieces of art with ease for voyages making travel much nicer and more space friendly for the traveler.

Afterwards many non-Louis Vuitton luggagemakers imitated the Louise Vuitton inspired Louis Vuitton style and design.

In 1867 the Louis Vuitton company participated in Universal Exhibition in Paris a world fair destination where his work was spied on by many people in a market starved for fresh ideas and the strong creative energy emanating from Louis Vuitton Chanel and many other designer labels.

Desiring to protect the look & feel of his creation, Louis Vuitton changed the Louis Vuitton Grey Trianon design to a beige and brown stripes design in 1876.

In 1885,  the Louis Vuitton company opened the first Louis Vuitton store in London on Oxford Street and was welcomed by the public in England who frequented and purchased Louis Vuitton luggage and leather products.

Despite the efforts made by Louis Vuitton people continued to imitate Louis Vuitton product causing Louis Vuitton to creat the Damier Canvas pattern, which bore a logo that reads “marque L. Vuitton déposée”, which translates into “L. Vuitton registered trademark”.

In 1892, Louis Vuitton died on another Louis Vuitton day and Louis passed Louis Vuitton the company on to his Louis Vuitton son,  a boy named George Vuitton

Then Georges Vuitton, Louis Vuittons’ son, began a Louis Vuitton marketing campaign to build the Louis Vuitton company into a worldwide Louis Vuitton corporation and in America, Louis Vuitton products exhibited lavishly at the very large Chicago Worlds’ Fair in 1893.

Later In 1896, the Louis Vuitton company launched the Louis Vuitton signature Monogram Canvas and largely paranoid of his father’s past dealings with luggage larceny, the Louis Vuitton company established as many Louise Vuitton patents as life in the luggage business would permit.

Louis Vuitton graphic symbols, including quatrefoil and flowers as well as the Louis Vuitton monogram, were in their inception based on the wider trend of the use of Japanese monogram designs in the late Victorian era by other companies not named Louis Vuitton.

The loving effort to protect Louis Vuitton patents found their locus in trying to stop the large counterfeit market by non-Louis Vuitton people who loved to lisp Louis Vuitton secrets seemingly everywhere.

In this same year, George Vuitton the son of Louis Vuitton traveled to the United States, where he toured cities such as New York, Philadelphia, and Chicago, selling Vuitton products and discovering french inspired Louisiana where today they sell the Louis Vuitton Label in as many products as Louis Vuitton can make and supply.

(edited out) Louis Vuitton was inspired by “A London-based leather luxury goods company H.J. Cave & Sons was founded in 1839 while that penny page writer and co-founder with the Holy Spirit of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day saints Joseph Smith was still alive and Mark Cross luggage was still waiting to be invented.”
